Overview

The Opportunity:

 

The Fisher Investments Australia Pty Ltd (the “Company”) Client Services and Sales Support Team Leader (“CS & SS TL”) is responsible for overseeing and effectively managing a team of FIA Investment Counsellors (“IC”) and Client Service Associates (“CSA”). ICs serve as the primary, long-term contact for FIA's private clients and are responsible for communicating what the firm may be doing to achieve client's stated objectives. CSAs act as a liaison between several internal partner groups and external custodians and platforms with the goal of providing world-class service to prospective clients and existing clients directly and through our ICs and Private Client Directors (“PCD”).

 

The Day-to-Day:

  • Oversees and effectively manages direct reports to ensure the team meets and exceeds service and sales supportexpectations to clients and internal partners. Ensures effective communication from team members

  • Fosters the development of direct reports through mentorship and training. Provides continued education. Ensures the day-todaybusiness support needs of employees are met

  • Develops understanding, both personally and within the team, of all FIA business and financial related characteristics relevantto servicing FIA clients, including but not limited to Australian financial institutions, taxation, procedures, account structures,and transfers

  • Reviews reports to ensure that client servicing guidelines and sales support needs are met

  • Reviews work completed to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance

  • Monitors the progress of the team's non-trading accounts and client relationships

  • Acts as a resource for questions and resolves client service and sales support issues

  • Directly interacts with the Company's clients and other third parties when necessary

  • Interview, evaluate, and recommend candidates to hire

  • Managerial responsibilities including participating in disciplinary actions and/or terminations for direct reports, as appropriate

  • Manages all phases of various projects from envisioning through deployment

Your Qualifications:

  • A University degree or equivalent combination of education/experience

  • At least 3 years of FI experience preferred. Prior management experience required

  • Meets the qualifications of the FIA Investment Counsellor role

  • Able to interface with various levels of management

  • Excellent problem solving, judgment, and decision-making.

  • Able to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness

  • Strong understanding of process and attention to detail

  • Significant interpersonal and communication skills
