We are looking for talented individuals to join our growing European team as a Fisher Investments Europe Financial Planning Associate on our French Specialised Services team. The French team is focused on helping existing and prospective clients in France by offering specialized financial planning advice. By providing a much higher standard of service than clients can typically get from existing options, the team expects to grow the French business rapidly, making a positive impact on the French market over time.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the team and its ambitious goals. By becoming a part of our growing team, you will have a unique opportunity to expand your financial planning knowledge, be a critical part of the ground-level growth of a new and promising business, and experience an immense amount of professional development along the way! Depending on our business needs along with which area fits you best, your initial duties may include diverse tasks such as:
What you’ll get:
You’ll learn more about “real-world” finance in your first few months than any class ever taught to you. You’ll improve your knowledge about financial markets and build a strong understanding of financial planning. You’ll be encouraged to ask questions, improve processes, and propose novel solutions to problems. If you hate the idea of corporate bureaucracy and politics, you’ll love that we evaluate employee performance in a manner that is straightforward and provide opportunity based upon merit. Do your best, rise to the top of the ranks in your area, and you’ll be on your way to earning more advanced opportunities. That’s how our top executives got there, and we think you can do it too. In fact, we hope you’ll advance to your next role within 1 to 3 years (a typical outcome for successful employees). Add more value, get more value back.
What we’d like:
We have some language requirements for this role since you will help service clients in France—native or fluent in French and solid English skills are essential to this role. Knowledge in wealth management and/or financial markets is preferred, but not required. We’re looking for an unrelenting work ethic, someone with a good team spirit, strong initiative, an autonomous mind-set and high communication skills.
The bottom line:
If this job posting seems different from those of our competitors, it’s because we really are different: it’s not just a slogan or a mantra. We are out to change an industry by building a better alternative for our clients and our employees. No tricks, no games, just top-tier money management and excellent service to our clients. To do that, we need to hire the best of the best. So, what are you waiting for?
