The Opportunity:
FIUK is looking for an experienced AML Officer to join the Compliance Team. FIUK AML plays a critical role in protecting the firm from being utilized to further financial crime, whilst ensuring employees understand, adhere to and uphold legislative and regulatory standards for Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing.
The Day-to-Day:
- Handle AML / CDD related queries and elevations from the business, using a risk-based approach
- Work as part of the wider AML team to regularly review and update existing AML policy and procedures
- Work alongside the Risk team to review and update the Business Wide Financial Crime Risk Assessment
- Work as part of the wider AML team to conduct regular testing of 1LoD financial crime controls
- Work as part of the wider AML team to implement department specific training of AML procedures and updates on any regulatory and legislative changes
- Work alongside the wider AML team to review and produce annual, regulatory reports
- Gather and report on AML MI to the Head of Compliance, the Board, relevant AML committees and leadership team as required
- Review and Investigate PEP, Sanction and litigation elevations from screening software
- Horizon scanning for any upcoming changes to AML legislation and/or regulation
- Support any potential disclosures of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARS) to the National Crime Agency
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years’ experience in an AML role within the finance industry, Banking or Wealth Management preferred
- Relevant understanding of legislation and regulation relating to AML, CTF and CDD
- Clear and effective communication skills in both writing and speaking, confident at communicating at an executive level
- Ability to organize and prioritise own work load
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Hard working, self motivated, eager to learn
- Ability to meet deadlines and deal with short turnaround times
- Ability to use IT systems, good Excel knowledge is preferred
- High level of attention to detail
- Knowledge of AML Screening systems is preferred

The Compliance Analyst will assist Fisher Investments Luxembourg and its employees to operate within and comply the applicable regulations.
The Analyst will be part of a small and extremely collaborative team which prides itself in producing high-quality work, and will assist and report to the Chief Compliance Officer on several compliance tasks within the team.

- Aid with maintaining the compliance framework
- Help with the firm’s compliance regarding AML/CFT requirements and with completion of AML risk assessments
- Monitor AML/CFT on an ongoing basis
- Assist in updating our procedures to effect any changes in regulation / legislation
- Keep on top of new CSSF thematic reviews, guidance to the industry
- Provide compliance support to various areas within the firm
- Help prepare the quarterly compliance reports to the board
- Help provide compliance training in the areas of Compliance Induction, AML, Conflicts of Interest, Suitability, Market Abuse and others
- Help with the daily administration of the compliance function
- Aid certain aspects of CSSF regulatory reporting for both the firm and its branches in other European jurisdictions
- Assist with the ongoing Compliance Monitoring Programme and with overseeing the outsourced activities
Your Qualifications:
- 2+ years of regulatory compliance and compliance advisory experience
- An AML/CFT background would be desirable
- Experienced in reading, understanding and summarising in simple language lengthy regulatory publications
- Ability to educate the first line departments on regulatory matters and to handle challenges from individuals in the business
- An understanding knowledge of investment suitability and financial promotions regulations
- An understanding of financial markets, financial instruments and market awareness
- An understanding of discretionary portfolio management, asset management, pension advice and regulatory requirements relating to retail and professional clients
- Danish and/or Dutch language skills a considerable advantage

The Opportunity:
The Fisher Investments Ireland Institutional Funds Analyst will work directly with the Institutional Funds Team Leader, Institutional Management, the Directors of the firm's funds, custodians, institutional clients/prospects and various internal groups to maintain and create Institutional funds. The Funds Analyst will oversee fund creation projects, oversee platform/sub-distribution relationships, and implement Sale's Management initiatives impacting Institutional funds. You will report to the Funds Team Leader.
The Day-to-Day:
- Research and onboard new sub-distributor and database platforms, including contract negotiations, due diligence oversight and operational set-up
- Oversees from start to finish the creation of new funds and maintenance of the funds
- Use project management skills to guide projects through completion
- Understand and monitor the compliance issues revolving around the institutional industry, unique codes of ethics, and internal requirements
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Two plus years of experience with UCITS (Irish domiciled) Funds
- Experience in fund sub-distributor and/or database platform support required
- Highly developed qualitative and/or quantitative skills required
- Ability to analyze various situations and develop creative solutions
- Ability to adapt to changes in a fast paced, team environment
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage time across various tasks
